Marketing Coordinator - Events

This events focused position exists to drive the strategy, promotion, execution and measurement of in-person and virtual events and produces digital content in support of key marketing initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Owns strategy of both in-person and virtual events and is the internal expert on show selection, show production, attendee experience, event branding, success measurement and reporting.
  • Develops and manages event logistics including: budgeting and expenses, contracting, booth/set construction and installation, attendee coordination, securing technical requirements, lead generation and processing.
  • Coordinates with product, sales, marketing and creative services teams, and leads execution and reporting of projects.
  • Produces and deploys digital content in support of marketing strategies.
  • Promotes content and events digitally through social media and other digital marketing channels.

Education and Experience

A diploma from a two-year college with 1 year of related experience and/or training is required.  Or, equal combination of education and experience.  Individual must possess excellent communication, organization, project management and problem-solving skills.

·         Expense and budget management

·         Content ideation, creation and deployment

·         Social and digital marketing

·         Some travel required

·         Video/animation creation (preferred)
