About Us

Brew City Accounting & Tax is a locally owned firm serving Muskego and southeastern Wisconsin. Since opening our Muskego office in 2018, we have focused on giving individuals and small-business owners professional tax and accounting guidance with clear explanations, personal attention, and year-round support.

We help individuals and families with tax preparation, tax planning, IRS and Wisconsin notices, unresolved tax matters, and Tax Return Protection & Support. For entrepreneurs, start-ups, and established small businesses, we provide business tax preparation, accounting and bookkeeping, and advisory services built around the business’s actual needs.

The firm is led by Stephen Shelly, Enrolled Agent. Enrolled Agents are federally licensed tax practitioners authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Stephen brings more than 20 years of tax and accounting experience and remains actively involved in client work and the local business community.

Our goal is not simply to enter numbers or complete forms. We want clients to understand their tax and financial situation, know what happens next, and feel confident that someone is paying attention. We combine professional expertise, practical technology, and straightforward communication to help clients make informed decisions and prepare for the future.
