Line Cook

Responsible for preparing food. Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rules and policies. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

  • Prep kitchen at start of shift. If opening, follow Daily Opening Checklist
  • Ensure all food is cooked consistently and properly. Verify food temperatures.
  • Ensure all specials are prepared to highest standard.
  • Keep cutting boards clean and free from debris.
  • Verify quality of orders exiting kitchen.
  • Keep kitchen and line neat and organized per standard.
  • Ensure all equipment is used properly and effectively.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food. Running food as necessary.
  • Replenish supply of kitchen operating equipment.
  • Keep general appearance and maintenance of kitchen working areas.
  • Cleans and put away preparation dishes
  • Take out trash as necessary
  • Clean fryers, ovens, grills
  • Maintain walk-in cooler, maintain freezer
  • Clean all spillage in kitchen via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or sanitizing as necessary
  • Maintain excellent grooming standard at all times
  • Attend all training sessions as scheduled
  • Establish effective employee relations and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all guests, clients and employees
  • Re-stock kitchen at end of shift
  • If closing, follow Daily Closing Checklist
~$15/Hour
~Sundays - Mondays - Tuesdays - Fridays (4PM - 9:30PM)
~ServSafe Certificate Required
