ANNOUNCES JAMMIN’ ON JANESVILLE
Muskego, WI – Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its popular street event, Jammin’ on Janesville. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 2, 2023, 5 to 9 p.m.
“Jammin’ on Janesville found new energy in 2022 when we had the opportunity to close Janesville Road and move activities on to the street,” Executive Director Krisann Durnford explains. “Our goal is to foster interaction between businesses and the community while allowing Muskego’s beautiful street and neighborly attitude to shine.” The Chamber partners with City of Muskego, Muskego Police Department, Tess Corners Fire Department, and Waukesha County to facilitate the closing of Janesville Road between Baylane and Lannon Drives. This ensures Muskego will have a fun, safe, and family-oriented event.
The festivities begin at 5 p.m.; however, Janesville road closes at 3 p.m. and will remain closed until 11 p.m. The community is encouraged to view the Jammin’ on Janesville street map of vendor/business activities and detour information at www.muskego.org. Reserved parking for those with a valid disabled placard or license plate is available at Aurora Health Care on Parkland Drive. The lot will be monitored by safety personnel and parking is first come, first served. All other attendees are encouraged to carpool or walk to the event as parking is limited along Janesville Road. Drivers are encouraged to be aware of pedestrians and the “no parking” signs along residential streets.
