*This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Muskego, WI

We are seeking a skilled people leader to join our Sales Management team. This individual will be driven by a desire to lead the IPC Division to maximize sales results and profitability through overseeing business operations, including IPC Inside Sales Managers, IPC Sales Support Manager, and IPC Estimating Manager.  The ideal candidate will be a strategic communicator who demonstrates ownership and will also appropriately delegate responsibilities and collaborate across a range of departments.  This individual will be expected to model servant leadership and develop servant leaders within their team.

What you will do:

  • Develop key performance goals and managing the performance of direct reports
  • Effectively address personnel issues as they arise
  • Ensure that departments deliver customer delight (internally and externally)
  • Oversee large projects and interpret performance reports
  • Develop, execute, and maintain focused strategic sales plans with the IPC Inside Sales Managers, addressing current market and competitive conditions
  • Coordinate strategic plans to ensure that the primary customer types and geographic areas are adequately covered and in a timely manner to maximize profitability
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
  • Encourage and participate in continuing education opportunities
  • Encourage and participate in continuous improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans

Job Specifications:

  • College degree required
  • Minimum five years of proven success in sales management
  • Knowledge of the construction process
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Ability to motivate, lead employees, and hold them accountable
  • Strong communication skills (presentation, written, one on one)
  • Miller Heiman or Sandler training preferred

Job Relationships:

  • Reports directly to the Vice President, Sales
  • Works closely with Sales Managers, Culture Department, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure proper coordination, communication, and teamwork are implemented.
  • Responsible for all IPC Sales Managers, IPC Customer Care Manager, and IPC Estimating Manager
