International Logistics Coordinator

We are currently seeking an International Coordinator to join our Traffic Team.
This position exists to process export shipments utilizing knowledge of best carrier selection.
Primary duties:
- Manage export quote program through Manual Quote Requests
- Maintain flow of orders from packing to shipping stage
- Prepare export documentation per country requirements
- Verify freight invoices, approve for payment & file
- Prepare freight quote for sales by negotiating rates with carriers
- Prepare all international documents
- Provide customer service on damaged or lost shipments
- Assist in gathering country of origin and HTS codes for all products
Primary qualifications:
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Strong organization/time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Knowledge of international shipping/transportation industry
- Proficient in Word & Excel
- Associate Degree and/or at least 3 years of trade compliance experience with an importer/exporter, distributor, manufacturer, or Customs House Broker preferred
