**Successful hire for the Extrusion Set-Up Tech - 2nd shift position will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment!**

 What you will do:

As our Extrusion Set-Up Tech, you will be responsible  for equipment set-up including necessary die changes, sizer changes, screw changes and all set-up/shutdown functions.  You will also assist in maintaining equipment and operate machines within specified operating procedures.

The Job:

  • Set-up and shutdown extrusion lines for production.
  • Work with operators to efficiently start production.
  • Perform floor level maintenance to tooling, extruders and downstream equipment.
  • Assist operators in performing their tasks and teach them to identify and troubleshooting problems.
  • Assist in establishing and compliance with plant safety program.
  • Trouble shooting of all equipment to ensure quality products are produced
  • Maintain quality levels set forth from the QA Department.
  • Coordinate efforts with department Supervisor, shift leads, Plant Manager and other IPC departments to assure product flow.
  • Implement new Policy and Procedure Guidelines for Department.
  • Communicate and act as a liaison with all departments and shifts on a daily basis to assure proper production needs are met.
  • Preform 2 quality checks per shift. (Perform and record a full quality check, check G2 software, check if Operator has been doing their hourly quality checks, check if capacity tool is up with laser running, check if POS is up, and we are running according to it.)
  • Any and all other responsibilities set forth from department supervisor and shift leads.

  • Assist in updating POS’s and Work Instructions 
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years Extrusion experience.
  • High energy level to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong mechanical ability or knowledge.
  • Fork lift certification to be completed after successful hire.

Hours and Location:

  • Inpro World Headquarters, Muskego, WI
  • 2nd shift, Monday-Friday; 2:50pm-11:00pm
