We are currently seeking an Product Design Specialist to join our Sign & Print Team.

What you will do:

Create custom illustrations and drawings for SignScape & Print Divisions.
Handle design related duties include photography editing and vector graphic creation and manipulation
Work directly with sales, product management and production teams to create product drawings and control specifications
Conceptualize, design and critically think about creating signage and large format printed murals
Collaborate, with architects, interior designers, specialized contractors and sales staff from project concept to completion
Maintain drawing consistency and file quality for production teams
Ensure that drawing and specifications are accurate and within manufacturing capabilities
Continuous learning and enhancement of design skills and production methods
Research materials and components to optimize design and stay atop of industry trends
Create and maintain company assets, including, but not limited to imagery, templates, font libraries and production resources

Job Specifications:

Demonstratable Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and CorelDraw design software
Advanced knowledge in typography, image editing, digital printing and color principals
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion
Consistently communicate timely and accurate information
Work effectively as part of team or as an individual
Offer exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Maintain a professional demeanor and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
Excellent organization and time management skills with emphasis on file organization and documentation
Idea generation without the fear of failure or rejection
Results driven with strong attention to detail

Education:

Minimum 2 years of technical college and 5 years of product design experience

Office Equipment Software:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office utilizing Word, Excel.
Experience with Solidworks and illustration software
