Events Committee Meeting (Apr 9)
Description
The Events Committee helps organize and implement the Chamber's events for business members and the community.
Chamber members are welcome to volunteer on the Events Committee. Interested? Contact executivedirector@muskego.org.
Duties
- Attend committee meetings as scheduled.
- Focus on annual events organized by the Chamber of Commerce as identified and defined by the Chamber's Board of Directors.
- Assist in obtaining event sponsors and promoting the event to businesses and/or community.
- Volunteer in the planning, setup/clean up, and activities of the Chamber's events.
- Current annual events handled by this committee include the Awards Gala & Fundraiser (March), Jammin' in the Park (June), DandiLion Daze Parade (August), and Golf Outing (September).
- Meet, encourage, and collaborate with other business members and event guests.
- Create positive networking relationships.
- Offer your business services when the opportunity arises.
- Be recognized as a Chamber volunteer at events.
- Receive discounted rate for Awards Gala dinner
