Supply chain management is all about the design, planning, execution, control and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance. The focus of this workshop is to provide an introduction to supply chain management, review the supply chain planning processes, inventory management, and review procurement and logistics as they relate to the supply chain.

• Review the fundamental principles and concepts of supply chain management.

• Strategize how and when to make the products that customers want.

• Discuss ways to build partnerships with suppliers.  

• Compose a plan to meet the needs of stakeholders.

• Review and discuss the difference between qualitative and quantitative performance measurements.
